New Motor Inn for Shiretown? $860,000 estimated. To be jointly owned by William D. Burley of St. Andrews and Christopher D. Burley of Maryland. "proposed quality motor inn" AEP (Atlantic Enterprise Program) administered by ACOA to assist Hospitality Investments Ltd. with 6 percent interest buydown on project loan—$172,000. ACOA created in 1987.

Deregulation and Bill C18, passed in August, at root of idea. No traffic on Limeburner Lake/St. Andrews section, and proposed development of Water/Patrick area hinges on track removal.
